DeFi Magic Snapshot: Part 1, Forged by Fire
Axioms just got a Level Up. Twice.
Axioms has always prioritized working within other ecosystems to create value through innovation and strategic advisory. As we continue to expand on the Ethereum network, we realized the high gas fees have created growth and opportunity on other smart contract Layer 2 blockchains. We aim to capitalize on those opportunities.
Axioms (AXI) will officially be adding cross-chain utility, via sister tokens, to Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and Polygon (previously Matic Network). Introducing: “Magic” and “Dark Magic”.
Axioms holders will receive 25% of the supply of Magic and 25% of the supply of Dark Magic as airdrops via a single snapshot. This, our noble adventurers, is worth repeating: AXI holders who qualify for the airdrop will receive Magic tokens on BSC and an equal amount of Dark Magic tokens on Polygon. Twice the mystical sorcery, makes twice the magical power.
Snapshot
The Axioms snapshot will take place on the block occurring on:
April 27th, 2021, 5pm Eastern Time Zone. The exact block height is subject to change.
There will be two tiers of the snapshot. The first tier involves holding 50,000 AXI. The second tier involves holding 1,000 AXI to <50,000 AXI.
To qualify for the snapshot, you must hold at least 1,000 AXI (contract address: 0x73ee6d7e6b203125add89320e9f343d65ec7c39a) at, and through, the snapshot block height.
Wallets with 50,000+ AXI:
The snapshot will be airdropped to holders at a 100:1 ratio. This means that if you have 50,000 AXI, you will receive 500 Magic and 500 Dark Magic (less any transaction fees). There is no maximum cap on what you can receive in the snapshot. Wallets with less than 50,000 AXI will not qualify.
Wallets with 1,000 through < 50,000 AXI:
The snapshot will be airdropped to holders at a 200:1 ratio (less transaction fees).
No Axioms swaps, spends, or transfers are needed to participate in the airdrop. The airdrop will be handled automatically. No actions are required. No one will ask you to send Axioms to participate. Just hodl your AXI, as the magic happens!
Inferno
To balance supply across all chains, a massive 8,000,000 Axioms tokens will be burned to match the combined supply of both Magic and Dark Magic. This is no foolish folklore, this is creating an equilibrium as Axioms will officially be a cross-chain ecosystem.
